Tired of not getting the parts you deserve? Learn to relax and let your talent shine! In this workshop students will run through an entire mock improv audition, with frequent stops along the way to asses and discuss everything from arrival, dress, and résumé's, to the improvisation itself. Find out what you are doing right, what you are doing wrong, and walk away with a better understanding of how directors and casting directors see you. Perfect for auditions in your hometown, and equally great if you plan on making the move to Chicago , LA or New York .

Melissa Cathcart & Jay Olson have performed, taught and directed at many venues all over Chicago and at comedy and theatre festivals across North America and abroad. They have trained with Academy Award winner Alan Arkin and current Mad-TV cast member Keegan-Michael Key, as well as at Chicago's Annoyance, ComedySportz, iO (formerly ImprovOlympic), Second City, and Profiles theatres.
